Glass Coat Resin Sealer

Glass Coat Resin Sealer is the ideal medium for priming surfaces ready for resin application. It’s easy to apply, requiring you to simply brush it over timber, paper, or other surfaces and allowing to dry before pouring your resin on top. Glass Coat Resin Sealer is ideal for tacking down surfaces or materials to ensure your resin stays in place once poured, and also helps protect wood surfaces from colour absorption!

Glass Coat Resin Sealer is a water-based medium and will dry clear, so your final resin artwork won’t have its colour affected. It is also useful for creating an air barrier between surface and resin, ensuring no air bubbles are released into your cast resin.

Allow the sealant to completely dry before pouring resin, which is usually 24hrs depending on the environment. Do a touch test to ensure the sealant is no longer tacky before pouring your resin!

After applying the Glass Coat Resin Sealer with a brush, the brush can be washed with water and or warm soapy water to clean.
