Gamblin Palette Knife Division Place

Gamblin Palette Knife Division Place is a versatile, professional quality palette knife thoughtfully designed for a lifetime of painting. Based on a classic shape that has served artists for centuries, the Division Place is an excellent all purpose studio tool for mixing colour, applying paint and creating a variety of expressive painting effects.

The Gamblin Palette Knife Division Place features a one piece FlexSteel™ blade made from non reflective carbon steel. At 1.5mm thick, the steel gradually tapers towards the edge to provide an ideal balance of even tension, flexibility and manoeuvrability. The carefully shaped blade allows artists to create crisp edges, smooth applications, textured marks and expressive impasto techniques.

Ideal for both oil and acrylic painting, the Gamblin Palette Knife Division Place can be used directly on the painting surface or as a colour mixing tool on a palette. Its adaptable shape makes it a practical choice for everything from blending and spreading paint to scraping, layering and building texture.

The handle is handcrafted from sustainably grown, FSC certified birch and designed for comfortable use in the studio. Each knife in Gamblin's six piece palette knife series features its own distinctive colourway, making different shapes easy to identify while working. The Division Place is finished with a Naples Orange colour dip.
