Developed in collaboration with professional calligraphy artists. The Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Calligraphy pens are ideal for calligraphers and lettering artists.
They offer all the advantages of drawing in Indian Ink in an easy disposable brush pen. Highly pigmented, light-resistant waterproof ink. When dry they are odourless and waterproof. Acid free.
The high quality 2.5mm tapered wedge tip provides maximum flexibility for both upward and downward strokes. The chisel tip can write with both the wide side and the corner. To write, hold the pen with the index finger and thumb and support it with the middle finger. The pen should be guided firmly and controlled but also comfortably. Apply a light even pressure on the tip with each stroke. To achieve an even and harmonious result, it is important to work at a consistent writing angle. The bigger the angle, the stronger the contrast between wide and narrow lines. This combination of different stroke widths determines the character of a font style.
