Art Spectrum Damar Resin
Description
Art Spectrum Damar Resin is a natural resin material used in oil paintings to add transparency and depth to colours. It is insoluble in water but can be dissolved in liquids such as oils, alcohol and turpentine. It can also be used as a picture varnish by first dissolving it in distilled turpentine.
To make approximately 500ml of Damar Varnish dissolve around 184g of Damar Resin in 300ml of distilled turpentine. Some settling of materials in the packaging may occur.
