What you will need

For this project, you will need some basic supplies. Firstly, you will need the jar itself – pick any size or shape of glass jar that you like. But remember that you are going to be filling the jar with treats, so choose wisely. Next, get some colourful Posca Markers in whatever colours suit your style. Posca Markers come in a range of nib sizes to suit any design. For this design, we have used Red in nib size medium and Black in size small.

How to do it
Once you have all the necessary supplies, it's time to start personalizing your jar! If you are using a template, start by removing the lid off the jar. Print your template and cut it out.
Position the template inside the jar with the design facing out. For best results, secure the template with some tape so it won’t move as you decorate the jar.
Fill in the heart first and allow it to dry before you add more details. If you make mistakes, you can easily wipe the paint off your jar before it dries.
Add an outline to your heart with a black marker.
We added tiny black circles all around the edge of our heart to give it extra flair! Remember, the template is just a guide, you can add any details you like.
Fill up your personalized jar with treats for an extra special surprise for someone special!
Finally, take some ribbon or twine and tie a bow around the neck of the jar; this adds an extra special touch that really makes it stand out from other gifts.
