Can be mixed with Derivan Acrylic paint to increase the gloss and flow characteristics. This medium is waterbased and will appear to have a milky consistency when wet but will dry clear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Gloss Medium is an excellent glue for collage papers and as a varnish over the top. As acrylics dry very rapidly, care should be taken to apply varnish pre-diluted with water (as per directions on labels).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePolymer Gloss Varnish applied in very thick layers on a hot day could trap moisture, resulting in a cloudy film which would be very difficult to correct.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll Derivan painting mediums are freely intermixable.
